HIT AWARDS 2015
In Uganda, the mainstream as well as Christian music Awards that recognizes Artistes have risen and gone into obscurity or completely fallen. We have been hoping and praying that a lasting solution surfaces. Well, God has answered our prayers with a brand new Awards. The Heaven Inspired Triumph Awards (HIT Awards).
The HIT Awards according to information reaching us, are brand new awards introduced to reward those whose strong values and faith have inspired them to stand out in their fields. The awards will especially look at outstanding philanthropy inspired by faith.
The Award seeks to appeal to a broad spectrum of people as opposed to those that focus on only music. The HIT Awards therefore focus on the seven spheres of life with awards focusing on Arts & Entertainment, Business, Philanthropy, the church, media, leadership and lifetime achievement.
Also, according to the HIT Awards organizing team,
They additionally focus on the philanthropic/CSR aspect of some of our winners especially how they have used their gifting/talent to help and lift others. Most of the awards will go to people who have and are still making a difference in their field based on their faith. These awards are about the true essence of life. This has therefore spurred us to create an event that bridges the gap between the gospel and mainstream worlds.
The event is slated for Friday 31st of July 2015 at the Serena Hotel Kampala. The event will be filled with entertainment and inspiration from different people and a top-notch ambience including a red carpet welcome and extensive media coverage.

Fine Artist of the year
Comedian of the year
Dance Group of the year
Business of the year
Philanthropic personality of the year
TV Personality of the year
Radio Personality of the year
Radio Station of the year
Evangelistic Minister of the year
Youth Minister of the year
Charismatic Leadership
Church project of the year
Lifetime Achievement Award
Voting is slated to start on Monday 22 June and will go on for a month closing on 22nd July
