During Ruyonga’s Glory Experience at Imperial Royale Hotel he told us to join in praying for Maurice Kirya whose mum was in hospital. He told us that, that was the reason Maurice Kirya who was supposed to be at both shows to perform a song they did together on the Glory Fire album could not be present. The song titled New Africa also features Zambian Gospel artiste Mag 44 who was in the country a few weeks back.
Ruyonga sent in his condolences in a message shared below,
Words can’t express or equate to what you must be feeling right now.
A mother’s loss can not be described, especially one as impacting as yours. Her love and care is reflected in the greatness and attention to quality and excellence you her children have exhibited.
I pray the heavenly father who has called this great woman Mama Sophie home comforts you in this time of mourning, we are praying for you and are with you all the way…
It is with a heavy heart that we too send our condolences to Maurice Kirya who lost his mother, Sophie Baguma Munobi.
We recommend that you stand with the grieving and pray for the family.
